You make an appointment at Voltige for two tandem parachute jumps because you’ve both been dreaming of this for a long time. In secret, you confide in us your intention to propose on that day after the landing and you share your plan: a large banner spread on the ground with the words “(their name) will you marry me?”. Our team will be happy to indicate the necessary size so that it is visible during the parachute flight! You will also have a bouquet of flowers and a ring in its box. Yes, indeed, at the time, tons of fabric were requisitioned for parachute making. Silk and nylon became rare and expensive in both the United States and Europe. It was not uncommon for abandoned and found parachutes to be jealously recovered or for soldiers to bring the fabric back to their future brides so they could make beautiful dresses! Long live recycling!
